C2カーバイドの定義と標準分類 標準体系の観点から、C2はANSI（米国規格）の分類に属し、ISO体系のKカテゴリーに相当します。これに相当するISOグレードは通常K20前後であり、中国のYG6グレードに近いものです。 C2超硬合金は、粉末冶金法によって製造される合金材料であり、硬質相として炭化タングステン（WC）を、結合相としてコバルト（Co）を使用しています。 代表的な組成は、WC 94.1% 対 Co 6.0% である。その主な物理的・機械的特性は、密度約 14.6～15.0 g/cm³、硬度 90～92 HRA、高い耐摩耗性、曲げ強度（≥350 Ksi）、および高温安定性を備え、以下の温度以下で安定した性能を維持する。
